PAGE 25
Proverbs 14:34
Wisdom rests in the heart of the wise, but in the midst of fools it is not made known. Justice increases the nation, but sin is an affront to the people.
 PSALMS 89: 15 AL
Blessed is the people who know how to acclaim you: they will walk, O LORD, in the light of your face. In your name they rejoice all the day, and by your righteousness they are exalted. For you are the glory of their power, and by your goodwill you will increase our power
Because Jehovah is our shield; and our King is the Holy One of Israel.
EXODUS 20:21
Moses responded to the people: "Do not be afraid, because to prove you God came, and so that their fear is in your presence and you do not sin.

PSALMS 7: 9 Now let the wickedness of the wicked live, but establish the righteous;
Because the just God tests the mind and the heart.
PSALMS 26: 1AL2
Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in my integrity;
I have also trusted Jehovah without hesitation.
Search me, O Jehovah, and try me;
Examine my inner thoughts and my heart.
JOB WAS TESTED
There was a man in the land of Uz, named Job; and he was this perfect and upright man, and fearing God, and turned away from evil. And he was born seven sons and three daughters. And his property was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and many servants; and it was that big man more than all the Orientals. And his sons went and feasted in their houses, each in his day; and they sent to call their three sisters, to eat and drink with them. And it came to pass, that after the days of the feast had passed, Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all. Because Job said: By chance my children will have sinned, and they will have blasphemed God in their hearts. In this way I did Job every day.

And one day the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, among whom Satan also came. And the LORD said to Satan: Where do you come from? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, "To go around the earth, and to walk in it." And the LORD said to Satan, Have you not considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and upright man, fearing God, and turning away from evil? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Does Job fear God for nothing? Have you not surrounded him, and his house, and all that he has around him? To the work of your hands you have given blessing; therefore his hacienda has grown on the earth. But now extend your hand, and touch all that it has, and you will see if it does not blaspheme in your face. And the LORD said to Satan: Behold, all that he has is in your hand; just do not put your hand on it. And Satan went out from before the LORD.

And one day it happened that his sons and daughters ate and drank wine in the house of his brother the firstborn, and a messenger came to Job, who said to him, "The oxen were plowing, the sheeps grazing near them, and the Sabeans attacked, and they took them, and they smote the servants with the edge of the sword; I only escaped to bring you the new ones. While he was still speaking, another came and said: Fire of God fell from heaven, which burned the sheep and the servants, and consumed them; I only escaped to bring you the new ones. While he was still speaking, another came and said: The Chaldeans made three squadrons, and struck upon the camels, and took them, and slew the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only escaped to bring you the news. While he was speaking, there came another who said: Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in the house of their brother the firstborn; and here is a great wind that came from the desert side, and struck the four corners of the house, and fell on the young men, and they died; and I only escaped to bring you the news.

Then Job arose, and tore his mantle, and knotted his head, and fell to the earth, worshiped;

and said: Naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked I will go back there. The LORD gave, and the LORD took away; Let the name of the LORD be blessed.

In all this Job did not sin, nor attributed madness to God.
